If you reside in Wharton Borough or Mine Hill Twp, and will be planning time away from your residence, our patrol officer will conduct periodic checks on your home. These type of checks are unannounced, and consist of an exterior check of the residence. The officers will look for anything out of the ordinary, including criminal mischief, trespassing, open doors or forced entry. If you are interested in having your home listed on the department Vacation Home Log, complete the Vacation Home Questionnaire and return it to the Wharton Police Department Records Bureau.
